I wanna try natural birth w/o epidural.. So i keep psycho-ing myself tat i must endure the pain...

i keep reminding myself e reasons for not taking epi..

• Wisdom tooth extraction - e extraction resulted in nerve damage which i nv recovered.. i still rem how much i went to thru to accept e "handicap".
  
• Pregnancy Rash - those torturous 8 weeks were over.. those were e days where i woke up every 2-3 hrs to sponge myself with cold water in wee hours.. e itch is no joke.. Im scratching like a monkey 24x7.. Luckily mine were heat aggrevated & the cooling nov-dec weather helped to make me feel beta.. it was so torturous tat i rather endure e pain den to experience e prolonged 24x7 itch..
  

Hope e above reasons r sufficient for me to endure e pain.. Wish me luck!

Hubby is coming back tmr..

Hubby has been away for more than 3 weeks & these 3 weeks seemed like months...

It was also during his absence that I learnt to be stronger.. I had became so dependent on him since pregnant so it wasn't easy for me on e first few days he was away..

Imagine waking in e middle of nite with cramping leg & no one to massage or help..
No one to accompany me for my gynae visits..
No one to help me pick up e things I dropped..

There was even once when I suddenly felt tummy cramps at nite & I started packing my hospital bag..

Well, my 精神之驻 is coming home tmr.. Yeah!!!

Looking fwd!~

Last Wed, Aug 19, i woke up with a sore throat & flu.. My throat was already feeling dry on tue afternoon..  With e h1n1 virus flying ard, i quickly went to kkh for checkup..

And u know wat? e doc prescribed me tamiflu & throat lozenges w/o looking @ my throat.. Of cos i also took e swab test.. just tat i was shocked y e doc simply encouraged me to take tamiflu when test results r nt out..

In e end, its not h1n1.. im glad i didn't take e med..

How interesting that sounds!!

Following the retirement of my boss, I'm given the opportunity of an analyst role.  And its not easy.  Its my first day working on a report & I finished work at 12am.

The learning curve is almost vertical.  I'm thrown the raw data & am expected to have the report tmr.

Sighz!! Its like one loh..  But then, am glad that I have broke away from my comfort zone and took up a challenging role

I cooked pasta for the both of us for dinner today.. Its just a simple dish yet its heartwarming to watch him finished them..  I think i should start to learn cooking cos i sux in that area..

I have embarked a new stage in my life and am still getting used to it.  Its not easy parting from my family whom I have stayed with for twenty odd years.

 

Work is unbearable nowadays.  No point complaining also.
